In the spring of  2000, the Task Force assembled a working group to gather and analyze information on the water planning efforts of entities in the region. The result of this research is presented in the Water Planning Report.  The report is available for download in PDF format through these links English Version / Spanish Version, as well as in print (call Carlos Rincon at (915)543-9292).  In conjunction with the Water Planning Report, the Task Force is currently developing a set of recommendations on water planning to entities in the region.

The Task Force is also exploring options for future policies and projects in which entities and communities in the Paso del Norte could collaborate.  This effort was the topic of the workshop and Water Forum on February 23, 2001 in which 53 water experts, professionals and community members participated.  Water Forum and Planning workshop:  “Toward Cooperative Water Planning in the Paso del Norte
